(or anyone else with a suggestion!)
Can you suggest a kitchen splashback colour (glass splashback) Cabinets colours: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Benchtop is quantum quartz "ice" Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We would like a neutral colour rather than an "out there" colour and are thinking of either a metallic silvery grey or a whitey colour "apparition" Thanks Michelle ![]() Built Porter Davis "Dromana" 2007. Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 11Sep 13, 2007 11:28 am Quantum Quartz……MY FAVORITE!!!!
Going to use it in my kitchen. So….are you painting the back of the glass???? ![]() Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 12Sep 13, 2007 11:38 am It is a standard painted glass splashback.....
We have actually chosen one...but are having second thoughts ![]() The whitey one looks something like this... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Built Porter Davis "Dromana" 2007. Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 13Sep 13, 2007 11:40 am You can specify a colour on the back of the glass when you order it.
Keep it a light ccolour I reckon and neutral. If it's offensive you'll have to live with it for a long time as glass splashbacks are expensive. Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 14Sep 13, 2007 11:40 am Sorry…..but are the cupboards grey? Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 16Sep 13, 2007 12:01 pm I would stay with the white one; (As per photo) limit the use of greys if possible!
That includes the silver as well! ![]() Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 17Sep 13, 2007 12:07 pm Thanks heaps....we had chosen the whitey one - but were worried about it looking strange with the benchtop...different whitey shades! Built Porter Davis "Dromana" 2007. Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 18Sep 13, 2007 12:12 pm NO…..it will help pull the other colours out in the stone, I know this colour you are using. ![]() Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYONE? 20Sep 13, 2007 12:34 pm Hey Vanderlay, are you going to use Starphire or clear glass for the splashback. The clear glass has a green tint to it, so be specific when you order it. It depends on what look you want i suppose. We are going the Starphire as it is a truer reflection of the colour behind.
Good Luck. 6 6058 Thanks mate. Yeah good points! Leaning towards Option 3 to get a bit extra space in the cabinets but not going too crazy high (and expensive). Would require a mini… 13 9378 ![]() Ouch... This is really unlucky, but hopefully insurance will reimburse. Would you consider propping unfinished walls in the future? 7 3994 |
