Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 25, 2010 2:40 pm Hey guys, I'm getting myself really confused in painting my front door and frame. So the rest of the doors and doorframes are white throughout the rest of my house. But I've decided to paint my front door (both internally and externally in a dark grey) - just to make things a bit different. Now the thing that has me really confused is what colour I paint the frame. Now I assume that internally I should paint it white to match the rest of the house? But what about externally - do I go grey? And what about the base (where you step as you walk through) - grey or white?!? I think I'm sounding like a crazy person here! But if anyone can tell me what they've done, or had done, or show me some photos I will be verrry grateful! We were going to match it to the windows but don't think it would look as good. It's hard to decide.
