Or perhaps you have similar walls to mine and have used something else that worked fabulously, was incredibly easy, and lasted for years? I have a list of products, but really I need the prep to suit the walls. I am restoring a house that may have been built 1918 or earlier. The interior walls are the crumbly lime calcium (?) type so very smooth and not receptive to standard paints. They've also been painted with an oil based paint which is peeling along the cracks. Can I use the below named paints on ANY surface and are some better than others? Or can anybody recommend a better product?
