The dash of colour in the laundry is brilliant (would make me WANT to do laundry! hehe) Also loving the nursery, we used the same linen in our babys room!.( I added pink after we found out she was a girl) Lovely, lovely home, congrats!!! Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 22Dec 07, 2009 7:19 pm Love the green laundry especially! If you don't mind me asking.... where did you get your frangipanis? All the online places I've found send them from Qld. The facade looks SO GOOD!!! Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 23Dec 08, 2009 10:00 am LOL Buzz - we have around 60 frangis waiting to be planted. DH has a very green thumb and whenever he sees one on the side of the road being thrown out he asks can he have it. The big ones out the front came from a site where they were building a new nursing home. They had 4 massive frangis just in line to be bulldozed. DH went over with his truck and asked could he salvage them - to which they replied not a problem and used a dozer to lift them out of the ground for him. My family keeps saying we will be surrounded by a frangi forest - which suits us just fine. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 24Dec 08, 2009 1:39 pm Love everything!! We are planning on having a large concreted area for the kids to ride bikes on, play hopscotch etc too.. so good to see someone else has done it. Are they 2 frangiapani trees out the front? I asked a neighbour for some cuttings and am growing 2 trees in pots at the moment to plant out the front of our house. They are quite a bit smaller than your lovely ones at the moment . And.. I love love love the showerheads in your ensuite! Do you know what brand they are? Would love to get a hold of some after our house is built to replace the standard builders ones we are getting. Everything is just gorgeous. No wonder you are so happy. Kristi Living the dream. 4 horsey acres in the country. What's the next project??? Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 26Dec 08, 2009 6:23 pm Kristi the showerheads are from Tradelink and are called "Mondo 8 Body Series Solid Brass" from memory. We also have a Methven handheld hidden on the left hand side of the shower as well which is great for cleaning both shower and kids. Buzz - our kids are brainwashed - they think that there are only two sorts of plants in this world. Gardenias and Frangipanis are pretty much standard no matter where we live - with the occasional Port Wine Magnolia. Even at 2yr old our son can pick a frangi from a mile away. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 27Dec 08, 2009 7:47 pm Awesome, thanks! I just looked on the tradelink website, but couldn't find it. However, I might give them a call . Good idea about the handheld methven mixer. We are getting one in the kids shower (methven too!), but the colour consultant advised me against it in the ensuite. Should've just stuck to my guns and got it!!! Oh well.. too late now. I just had to LOL about the gardenias and frangiapani's. My favourite flower has always been the frangiapani as we had an awesome really old tree in our yard when i was growing up.. and we also had a gardenia hedge, so that plant holds a special place in my heart too. Love them. Aaahhh.. Kristi Living the dream. 4 horsey acres in the country. What's the next project??? Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 28Dec 14, 2009 12:52 pm Your house is amazing, all the colours work so well together both inside and out. Your ensuite is definately one of the nicest i have ever seen..... I love frangis to and have tried several times to grow them, but they always end up dying. I am not the best gardener thats for sure. V Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 29Jan 02, 2010 11:49 am Hi Kyton - did Baby Kyton arrive yet? Were the girls right, was he/she a boy? OB keeps telling me any day but I am ready to serve an eviction notice if there is no voluntary movement of it's own accord Will let SuH know when it deigns to make it's appearance. Re: Some more ** peaks - both inside and out!! 32Jan 03, 2010 12:36 pm Listen love it is hard enough to roll out of bed sixty four million times a night to pee let alone do situps!! DH reckons I am being stubborn because our OB is not on this weekend and I don't like the things I have heard about the one that is on. He tells everyone I am waiting until tomorrow morning so our OB will be there. Some things are worth waiting for. Keep in mind there are no decorations around the home as of yet. Have been too busy concentrating on Christmas / new baby to worry about knick knacks. They will come over the coming months. No photos of the home theatre or study as they are still a work in progress and quite boring - plus none of toy room as it looks like a bomb at present. Re: Okay big overload of pictures. 37Jan 04, 2010 3:48 pm Sorry about the quality of the pictures - all taken on my mobile (since camera is packed in hospy bag). Yep kills me that the laptop is sitting on the bench but until study is done that is where it has to live. Now you come over and have a stern talking to my belly and see if it listens to you 'cause it ain't listening to Mummy!! Some things are worth waiting for.
