Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Nov 09, 2009 5:22 pm Ok, so I've done a search on here after seeing so many gorgeous decals come up over time, but as I have no kids, I never thought of actually bookmarking them! I've flicked through 1,000's of them, but cant seem to find what I'm looking for. ...My SIL is having a baby but is not finding out whether its a boy or girl. She's not very good at the whole 'decorating' thing, so she's asked if I could give them a hand setting up the nursery. We've bought a few bits and pieces so far, but it needs something to brighten the room up so I suggested some bright wall decals. We (and by we I mean her and her husband, but I agreed ) have decided on a bright animal theme, but everything I find is too dull or boring (or expensive!) If someone could give me a hand suggesting sites it would be GREATLY appreciated! Her second choice was Teddy decals, but I dont know if teddys would be too 'girly' incase its a boy? ...Or is jungle too 'boyish' if its a girl?? Any suggestions welcome!!!!! Re: Animal Wall Decals...suggestions? 6Nov 15, 2009 9:44 pm ok I've spent hours going thru whats available, but I chose these for under $60 incl delivery because it not only had the animal, but also the words to spell it. I'm hoping it will rub off on the cherubs as well as the names. funnily enough, my 2yo can say "donkey" if I say "ewe or ; ewe or" - but he can't say "help" if he needs assistance. I guess animals makes learning fun! therefore I'm hoping the spelling of animals comes early too if they've been looking at it on the wall for a couple of years first... hmmm wishful thinking! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ANIMAL-FACES-Wal ... 56365ffed3 A thankful person is a happy person. Where did you get yours from Magic? I've seen those ones on a few sites but the prices varies up to $100... Hi NatB - I was going to buy mine online, but the postage was atrocious (like $15 to $20). The brand name is For Walls, which I found out was quite well-known. So I went to get them from my local baby shop, which stocks that brand - they didn't have any of the jungle ones, but let me put my name down for when they got their next shipment . Then, lo and behold, I was heading for Spotlight in Hobart and my daughter stopped to look in a window of a new little gift shop and THERE THEY WERE, just looking at me!!! Bought them immediately, of course - the big one with the monkey was $50 and the small one with the lion was $24 - so much cheaper than getting them online. I'd check out some baby shops, if I were you, at least to compare prices .
