I'm a single girl living on my own so there won't be a high human traffic using and abusing these furnitures. Nevertheless, I'd like something well made to last me for 10 years or so. They bought a spare washable cover and have had no issues, the cover washes well, doesn't shrink in the wash and fits nicely.
