You really only need it if you have to seal stains, water leaks and mould. Otherwise use water based undercoat – it’s much easier to apply, dries quickly and smells much less. Make sure it dried properly before you put final coat on top of it. Otherwise your paint will develop a mesh of little cracks.
About mould staff… They have a liquid call Mould Killer – just add it to you paint as per instruction. Smells badly, but it really works. We use it a lot! You would need to treat the surface with Mould Killer spray before painting for the best results. Most of paint shops will have they in stock. Also – Barloworld had has those really good antibacterial paints which basically have premised antibacterial ingredient already. The price is close to normal premium quality paints. Just be careful with building stability during construction, that is when the structure may be weakened, refer to your engineering drawings for stability methodology. 1 6192 Thank you so much.
