There's a shot in the family room where they have used something similar in a void in the wall. It looks like that type of construction, but just attached to the ceiling. I know window shutters are expensive decor sometimes in displays, but that one looks like plain timber slats, which is what I'm trying to achieve... YOu ask me what size, I don't know, it's to go in a room that is 7.5m x 4m (so I'm thinking of 2x3m over the dining area only).
