Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Apr 30, 2009 3:58 pm We were thinking of spending extra and changing our kitchen cupboards to a vinyl wrap so that we can get those groove things that you get from routers (mental blank on the technical term) in the doors as I really like the look of the groove, and think it would suit the wood grain look we have chosen (jarrah for laminate, rosewood for vinyl wrap, they look identical). However, I'm starting to get worried about it peeling back after seeing the cupboards at work (which are vinyl wrap). So what is your opinion? Does the laminate peel as easily as the vinyl wrap (it's just that I've never seen laminate peel)? Is it worth getting the vinyl wrap for the look of the grooves or save the money and stay with the laminate which I think will last longer?
