Hi,
Can someone please tell me what the difference is between Dulux professional premium(low sheen) and the dulux 101. We're repainting our place and was wondering if we could use this instead of the standard 101.

I used to know; now I just leave it up to the painter. Best bet, which hopefully you have done by now, is ask at the paint shop. Both come out of the same factory... Both are used by professionals... Costs can vary, but generally the professional range is slightly cheaper through a trade store... Electrical Engineer... Don't hold that against me... And keen owner builder... Mainly the building part!! Re: Dulux professional premium 4Apr 29, 2009 12:28 am Might be a bit late in responding but hubby works for Dulux - A few points of difference 101 has higher stain resistance and washability - it is the best wash and wear type paint on the market for that. It is also low VOC (good for asthmatics, or just for lack of smell compared to other paints!) Professional has better coverage/opacity, and touches up easier, and although less stain resistant than 101 it is still very competitive with other premium products on the market.
