Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 13, 2009 2:28 pm Hi guys,
Our painter started to paint our home yesterday amd he called me to check and see if i was out with my paint choice... He seems to think the colour is to dark for the size of our home and it will make it look to small and closed in. I am stressing out now!!! is it too dark??? Im goign to try get a photo of the pain on the wall this afternoon. The colour we chose is Dulux "Self distruct" half strength.... this is very much like our plan but we have a hallway from the master bedroom to bedroom two. Maybe the painter is not used to color - typically does white walls??? Picture will help us all - although I'm not expert - Mich, anyone??? Still not in. Don't ask!? Re: Wall paint to dark for our house??? 3Feb 13, 2009 2:43 pm Are you breaking it up with another colour - eg like white on the ceilings / architraves? Sometimes a colour can look overpowering until you get your furnishing and window treatment in to break down the colour. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Wall paint to dark for our house??? 4Feb 13, 2009 3:08 pm yes we are doing white celing but the same self destruct architraves, our window frames are white. HOME- is where your story begins!
