I have just finished painting my house. I like the look of chocolate furniture and what not, so we decided to paint our walls neutral colours...with our feature wall being a chocolate brown Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ though it isnt quite so light and horsey as that LOL and our other walls this colour but in half strength Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ this way we can add our colours of red or teal blue in artwork and accessories like cushions and rugs and what not Re: Too much white! 23Jan 27, 2009 8:10 pm I really like the red against the dark choc furniture/tv unit. But I would balance it with a good rug (eg. colours that blend the red and white with another colour too, maybe greens???)

annietom, i've already got a bright red shaggy rug so maybe it will be too much red! the more i think about it the more i think i'll have too much red if i paint the wall like above.
