Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Nov 16, 2011 12:56 pm I'm just after a bit of help selecting colours for a feature wall in each of my kids bedrooms. My 9yo son wants a shade of blue - we've looked at quite a few and like Blue Oar at this stage. I don't want the colour to be too bright and overwhelming but would like it to look like it belongs in a kids room (9 yo so tween's room I guess). My daughter is looking for a shade of purple (first preference) or green (second preference). She is only seven so am after a colour which will last her into her teens. Again not too bright, but colourful enough to be for a kids room. We are only looking at the Dulux colours. Can I please have some suggestions? I would go with what she wants now and change it later when she may want something completely different from both of those options in 5 yrs time. Paint is easy to change- take a chance!
