light grey on white background = almost impossible to read. Can the contrast be improved?
The system allocated me a password, but when I try to change it, it won't let me type anything in the new password field; tried 2 different browsers. Overall not a good experience.

I'm using a PC. Main text is grey not black. All formatting (edges of boxes etc) is very faint light grey against white background. Lots of small typeface. Frustrating.

No, you are correct. Just get them to leave it open and get a joiner to install drawer hardware later.
