Browse Forums Ideas Box 1 Apr 10, 2010 2:10 pm Need inspiration for exterior colours!! We have a skillion roof, (quite visible) and a front facade as follows: brick for first room and feature wall around garage(thinking Cassaica pgh or earth austral). Colorbond cladding for second room as well as cladding underneath mant parts of skillion roof. The rest of the house will be rendered. The problem is i have my heart set on a dune roof and i thought maybe surfmist cladding? What colour render will go with this roof and brick/s? Or do i need 2 render colours dark and light? Open to suggestion for cladding colour. Was thinking garage might also be dune? Help please Michelle! Have read your advise using cassica before but that was with a dark roof. Thanks. Re: Dune roof but what render?? 3Apr 10, 2010 5:08 pm You need to use something like photobucket or imageshack to upload pics. Use the search at the top of this page to locate "How to upload a picture" We also are having Dune colourbond skillion roof when we build. Our gutters and facia will be Jasper. Austral Mist brick around garage. Garage door either Dune or a wood colour. Haymes China Doll render on centre wall of facade and all the cladding above. The other side of facade will be Haymes Yorkshire Brown. We also have a blade feature near front door but we will more than likely put a paving type stone on this. We are going to build with Dennis Family Homes in Melbourne. Our house is the Charlton 291 with the Esplanade facade. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. Have tried to upload picture but am easily confused!! will try your tip. Your colours seem lovely- well done!! You seem so clear and decided- so envious. We also have the blade wall, our designs must be quite similar. Ours is split level which makes me think 2 colours might be better.
