I am trying to google their reviews, but cannot find anything on the internet. It will be a big help. Regards Taps Hi yes they have built me an 16 square home. Chose the basic product but was really impressed with finish as it is for investment purposes. Re: Dulger Homes Reviews 3Nov 09, 2019 11:06 pm Hi I came across this forum back on September and to be honest the review above seems to me as a marketing type of thing. I was going to build with ABC Homes -Australian building Co which is a sister company of Metricon as explained by ABC Home advisor. ABC offered me Metropolitan 32 which has a small lounge, I asked to have extra space for the Lounge and bed rooms. They recommended to add extra 1.5M extension to the house while I was more interested to have a build over garage option which ABC was not flexible at all to do that. it did require at least a week to do any changes to the drawing and more than three weeks to get back to me with drawings changes to the extension , as I have to wait on a queue. They do not have their own design team, They rely on Metricon Design team to do any changes which it is really frustrating. I was very concern about the time spent due to tied time frame for land settlement, ABC did help to get another two weeks extension for settlement while waiting for design team to get back to me. I was not happy with the delay as I am paying rent and I have to wait long time for every single change i request. I decided to contact IBuildNew to help find other builders who can be quicker and have better design to utilize space by having build over garage option. they got few builders to contact me and one of them was Dulger homes. They offered me their Quintessa 29 based on my budget. This design unfortunately does not have study room/ powder room on the ground floor. They have been very flexible to customize the design by taking rid of the ALFRESCO area and come up with study room 3.0X4.5M2 beside the lounge, They did customize the Laundry and change the WC to have POWDER room surprising they been able to do too many changes to the design including add build over garage option which I was really very pleased to add . I think Dulger homes have their own design team located in the city, they have been able to respond to these changes and come back to me with final working drawings in just a week. They did understand my diffecult situation and urgency to get my loan approved for settlement.
Really If you are seeking help to design your own house, my advice just come up with the design you like and CHALLANGE Hassan with the customization you want. He is the magic man who can make difficult changes and customization to becomes true and on the spot.Seriously this man is really very very very experienced.Set down with him and you will know what i am talking about i am currently waiting for developer and council approvals, hoping this can be done soon. I look forward to have (Stage One) done before Christmas holidays finger cross!! I will keep you guys updated with my experience. I am considering them for my highly customized plan. Need a really trustworthy builder to ensure I don't miss out $25k by signing contract in 3 months time and starting works in another 3. If so, please update how did you go with the build. I am currently going through the sales agent and he certainly helped us get the house design we want. but I haven't got an opportunity to sit down with Hassan and talk it through. Cheers, Mixter.
