Hi, I bought a 2 bed room unit from 15-19 Toongabbie Rd, Toongabbie NSW and wondering if there is anyone who purchased a Unit from the same building.
I am trying to gather all the owners of this property, so we could discuss the happenings \ construction progress of the building.
Pls join and comment in this topic if you are one of them. thanks

Builder for this project 15-19 Toongabbie Rd, Toongabbie NSW 2146 is Sammour Constructions Pty Ltd. Has anyone got some reviews, previous experiences with this builder?
Appreciate if you could make a comment here?

A quick note on this project 15-19 Toongabbie Rd, Toongabbie NSW 2146 is that the Builder has started cleaning the site.
Not sure if this is a positive sign & if they are actually planning to start the construction

Is this an off the plan? Did you sign the contract yet? when is the sun set given ? Is it the same combination of property inside out and sammour ? what start date of construction was promised to you?

First of all thanks for the reply.
Yes, it is off the plan.
I have not signed the contract yet and the builder is still sammour.
The agent is not property inside out.
For the construction date, I have been told that it will start in about 2-3 months.
Currently, nothing have been done yet on the site and the existing houses are still there.
How is yours so far?

If the builder is Sammour, I would strongly suggest you to stay away with them. I have 2-3 examples where the builder was Sammour and experience was Crap
I signed the contract in Mar 2016 and we were told that construction would start in Aug 16 and nothing happened till Jan 17 and they started excavation in Feb 17 and you wont believe they are still digging ( a lovely 5 months ). Even if they start construction in July or Aug 17, I am sure they would take another 2 Yrs.. which is July 2019 which is awful 3 yrs to wait.
Don't believe when it comes to Off the Plan - Off the Plan is generally a waiting game, I can assure you that it will easily take atleast 2 Yrs from now for you to get your property. ( Atleast - May be more than that )
I would say pls reconsider and revise your plans else you will deeply regret like me. There was no one to suggest me when I jumped into the Market
Have a great weekend !!

I am sorry to hear that and thank you for the input.
I have the feeling that there will be a delay (at least 6 months) because nothing have been done on the site yet.
The completion date mentioned in the contract is late 2018.
But from your input, the delay will be more for this builder.
Thanks again for the input.
I hope for the best for you and have a great weekend too.

FYI.. my property is still being constructed - Its almost 3+ yrs now.. still going on.. God knows when will it be given..
Builder has already extended the sunset date...

Sounds like a dick-head. But - you have to decide how far you want to go. Is the grain/gutter really an issue ? Can you do minor thing that alleviates the problem ?
