Browse Forums Real Estate 1 Oct 05, 2015 10:30 pm Hi, Any body here building in Highgrange Estate ? We have bought the land last week and planning to built ASAP. Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 2Oct 12, 2015 8:08 am Yep, I bought my land last year in stage 1. Prices haven't moved much since but with land becoming more scarce in the area, I do expect it to go up in the coming months especially with more amenities like the new shops (Hungry Jacks, Petrol Station etc.) on the corner of Palmers & Leakes. Allura is almost out of land and there is no other residential land closer driving distance to the city now from our estate Which part of the estate are you building in? Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 3Oct 12, 2015 1:32 pm My land is on the sedgefield avenue and planning to start the construction in couple of months or early next year.. Is your land settled and construction started ? I feel Gateway land price are higher compare to Allura.. Not sure why ... may be they are closer to palmers or williams landing station.. Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 4Oct 13, 2015 10:10 am I'm also on Sedgefield Ave. Land has settled and building to start end of this year or early next year too. Looking forward to the bus services starting once the area is populated. You can see on our street that the bus stop pads have already been put in. Yes Allura prices have been cheaper, but location wise Highgrange is better positioned as we are closer to the city onramp at Kororit Creek Rd and Williams Landing Town Centre. No need to fight with WL and Point Cook residents as the on ramp over there is pretty jammed as is, and we join the M1 5KM closer to the city. We still have all the amenities (parks, schools, ovals, supermarkets) accessible in Allura, and a feeder bus route on our street to Williams Landing station (hopefully a smart bus route to the city one day) There is no other residential land in our area closer to the onramp as most of it is industrial to the east. If you compare Allura's release up towards corner of Palmers/Leakes Rd to the north (now all sold out as far as I know), the prices were quite similar to Highgrange. Not much land left around us. Naturally, prices will go up once supply dries out and there aren't many options left except to build further away from the city. Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 5Oct 13, 2015 2:33 pm which builder are you going with ? I am currently in a process to finalize the builder and looking the options around Burbank, Mimosa, Sherridon and Carlisle home.. Any recommendations or comments ? Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 6Nov 22, 2015 10:50 pm Hi, We are buying at high grange and settlement is happening in December. I am in discussion with Carlisle but have not finalised. Still canvassing for other builders. happy to hear your thoughts about building plans. Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 7Apr 11, 2016 8:15 pm Hi all, we are buying on stage 5 which is close to Sedgefield Ave and the settlement should be happened on April or May? not sure. I have went to lots of display houses and still cant make final decisions on builders. Anyone knows Orbit Homes? Little bit interested in this builder. Happy to know all of you. Re: Gateway Highgrange Truganina 9Oct 06, 2017 8:54 am kiaan Hi I also baught land recently in highbrook precinct.. not sure if made the right decision or not . The land is really very expensive as compare to nearby area like tarniet. Is it really worth it? Hi I asked lots of people living in Tarneit or Truganina. All said it is a good area. Not sure if you still decide to have it after cooling-off dates, but I can see lots of people start a new life in my stage and they seem happy. |
