I just moved into my new first home, got the First Home Owners grant
2 questions
1. How do I claim the fog? Do I need to ring the bank up and they transfer the funds?
2. I am living in it for now but I want to rent it asap. How long is the minimum that I have to live in there before I can turn it into an investment property

My conveyancer has organised the fhog for me, money is going straight to the bank I won't even see it.
I'm pretty sure it's 12 months you need to live in it for the fhog

Sounds like rubbish to me. Ask for the contamination report which I doubt they have. If it's part of a normal subdivision it would have had a contamination report done…
