Hi All,
I'm building a unit at the back of my current property which my family intends to move into and then rent out the existing house.
My question is, what happens to land tax if we dont sub divide since there is still only one title and one rate to pay?
We've actually gotten someone to start the formal sub division process but may hold out until we need to sell the property....
I understand I will need to talk to an accountant on this but wouldnt mind hearing from other people's experiences. We live in Melbourne.
