Browse Forums Real Estate 1 Feb 07, 2013 7:05 pm Hi all, First time PI/ home buyer here so be nice! I'm looking at the option of buying a block of land and building in Adelaide (inner). What do I need to know (event the very basics) at the info search/ enquiry stage. What should I ask the vendor/ RA. - I've heard references to the vendor's statement (what's this?) - Obviously I need to ask for a copy of the title - Any easements or issues with the land Also I've seen many blocks advertised that (by driving past), don't seem ready (sheds on them still, seem like they're not ready). And maybe a stupid question, but do new listings usually say whether services (sewerage/ elec) are running to the block? Appreciate any info. Cheers Re: Buying Land: Basics to enquire about? 2Feb 08, 2013 4:51 am There are a number of posts at the following location about blocks: http://www.anewhouse.com.au/?cat=6 Brian The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
