The problem with this boom, is owners are expecting BIG prices for absolute dumps!
Prices have gone so high that they don't even bother to spruce up the place. It's really hard to find somewhere that looks half decent, doesn't cost the earth, nor need major reno work done to the point where it's often better to just demolish and start again.
With interest rates going up, one would hope that the demand would drop off just a bit and prices would go back to normal. It's seriously crazy times out there.
