Hi, We have been to an housing investment seminar recently and would be interested in anyone who has any information or has had dealings with Qld Property Advice, 360 Degree, or Inspire Style and living. We are wanting to invest in a new build but do want to do it with eyes open and with investigating the players fully before investing with them.

I'd be very carefull if they are trying to sell off the plan especially for apartments. Investing in areas that have a proven track record of high demand and scarcity of good property is the way to go. Areas with alot of development going on means oversupply and poor return as well as a whole host of other pitfalls. That said I have no idea about Brisbane or where or what you are investing in but I've read lots about buying off the plan in new developments and its pretty much all negative.
I'd also say if these guys are selling their advice as a buyers advocate then they may be worth listening to but if they have a vested interest in selling a development then they are simply spruiking to make money at other peoples expense. my 2c...
