Browse Forums Real Estate 1 Apr 18, 2011 8:03 pm We really would like to build again!! But the only thing is, we will only move for a property 10 acres or more! Can anyone suggest any suburbs in Victoria (Melb outer suburbs)? We like the more country towns but not as far as regional vic. Reasonable pricing? We are just wanting to get an idea so we can keep an eye out for the near(ish) future Thanks for your help!! Re: Suburb recommendations for reasonably priced acreage 2Apr 18, 2011 8:15 pm I think you'll be hard pressed to find land of that size anywhere that would be considered a suburb. My suggestion is out my way... Wallan, Wandong, Kilmore.... even Clonbinane. Still only an hour from the city. I'm in Wallan, train gets you to the city in around 45mins from here. The other options could be the Bacchus Marsh. Or South East towards Nar Nar Goon or Warrigul.... but they are a lot further out. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. We are about 1.5hrs drive from the city, but melb metro is about 30mins away which we are happy with. I personally don't like the city much and don't go there very often. We are outdoor people... my partner likes 4WDing and we go camping quite often. We are country people at heart But just don't want to be too far from melb metro as my partner is a contractor so he is on the road a bit. Re: Suburb recommendations for reasonably priced acreage 5Apr 19, 2011 8:31 pm Banzai69 Donvale, Park Orchards, Warrandyte.. lots of acreage here. Thats also known as richville!! Don't think we will be able to afford to ever buy land in there! Thank you for the suggestion though We have been looking at Healesville and surrounding suburbs, I know we can pick up cheaper property there for the size we are after and under 400k. But I was just seeing if anyone has any suggestions outside of the Yarra Valley just for something different. Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6890 I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45554 |
