That's a lot for advertising fees too. We had a list where we ticked what we did and didn't want as far as advertising goes, and if you chose everything, the maximum you'd pay over the 3 month listing would be $900... huge difference to you, and that was internet, huge photo board out the front, papers, everything. As for them telling you not to bother with the kitchen, I've always been told the opposite. Kitchen's and bathrooms sell a house, as they are the most exxy to renovate.
