I am away from the forum a little while and look what I have missed. Re: My house for sale 14May 17, 2010 9:23 am We had 3 groups through which we thought was bad but the agent said it was the busiest one of the weekend. He said it was a flat weekend overall. 2 groups showed interest. Hopefully this weekend will be better. Re: My house for sale 16May 19, 2010 5:03 pm Hi Sharee Your house looks lovely. I have been following your posts/progress on the other thread. We are about to put ours on the market and am nervous that it's not a good time or that we won't get the price that we want - but time will tell. I reckon your place will def sell (they all do I guess) it's just a matter of time and whether you can hold out for the $$ you want, or need to reduce the price for quicker sale. You can feel your way through I guess. I was just wondering - when did the laws regarding pool fences change or when are they going to change? And do you know where I can view the new changes. We have a pool and I dare say if changes have been made, it will affect us as our pool fencing is a bit 'lax' but covers current requirements. Also, we would want to get a glass fence if we need to get anything - so would you be able to tell me how much per metre to expect for glass pool fencing - I have no idea. Thanks, and good luck with the house sale. Ceebs Re: My house for sale 18Jun 02, 2010 6:29 pm Ceebs Hi Sharee Your house looks lovely. I have been following your posts/progress on the other thread. I can't actually find the legislation anywhere, but the major change is that a pool now requires a 'four sided fence' . Previously our sliding glass door which headed straight to the spa area, was deemed compliant because it has a self-closing and self-latching mechanism. However doors from a dwelling are no longer acceptable at all!! We needed 2.5m of semi frameless glass fencing for $1600. I got quite a few qoutes and that seemed about average! I hope that helps! Re: My house for sale 19Jun 02, 2010 6:31 pm elastic 435K only, i reckon it would be worth maybe 450K or more At 435k, i reckon with deperciation, the renatal would be after tax cash flow positive I have no idea what that means But if you think $435 is a bargain, you could make an offer She's backkkkk... Re: My house for sale 20Jun 03, 2010 3:04 pm How is it all going for you Sharee. There has been a definate flattening in the market in the last few weeks. Perhaps this will subside once all the big auction weekends are finished. There are 1000 auctions scheduled in Melbourne for the weekend after the Queens Birthday. Apparently after that the supply may drop off and perhaps things will pick up. You’re on the right track, wire brush in a grinder then a zinc rich epoxy primer then a top coat of some sort, like a waterproofing membrane. Raising the concrete would… 1 7035 How good is Simeon?! Always taking time to help others out! Wish we were building in NSW and could work together. Thanks for all that you do! 7 6585 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6896 |
