Browse Forums Real Estate 1 Nov 30, 2009 12:22 am Can anyone help me with this question??? What in your experiences are the 7 fastest ways to make money in real estate. I am looking to find the most experienced investors advice on the 7 fastest ways to make money in real estate for the purposes of a report for my website. I would like to know if some experienced investors could give me their feedback as to how fast they made the money and exactly what they did to achieve the result. I am happy to submit the report back to you for your opinions and feedback after I have done some additional research on the subjects obtained. Regards Re: fastest ways to make money in realestate. 3Nov 30, 2009 12:30 am That is way too broad of a question You'd need to present a scenario . 7 ways for a home owner are different from the 7 ways for an investor. Other variables include asset backing, cash, time factors, income, tax implications and personal housing needs Re: fastest ways to make money in realestate. 4Nov 30, 2009 5:29 am Go to http://www.somersoft.com.au ...but you probably have posed this question over there anyway Mrs B Re: fastest ways to make money in realestate. 5Nov 30, 2009 4:02 pm I was going to suggest somersoft too. Read the interview section. Lots of great stories of how posters made their money. Better than asking them to repeat it all. Or get old issues of Property Investor magazines (or go to the library). Each month they tell someones investment story. Why 7?? Read Rob's story. Impressive stuff. http://www.somersoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51677 Re: fastest ways to make money in realestate. 6Mar 30, 2010 11:07 am I have read a lot of the "Rich Dad" books including the one by Dolf de Roos called Real Estate Riches. Also check out Steve McKnight's work. His books are based on Victorian investing and tracks his investment stories. Re: fastest ways to make money in realestate. 9Apr 19, 2010 7:54 pm Where I live it seems to be to buy, sub-divide, build then sell. I've seen people subdivide their existing property, build a new house on the back and then sell the lot for a tidy profit. In some ways I find it a little bit immoral as the consequences are left for their neighbours and they get to walk away. Subdivision is making once desireable streets alot less so with the higher density housing making areas less green and more congested. Obviously this is the governments/councils decision to allow it and people will take advantage. I just think that if people want to subdivide their land then they should be made to live on it so they can see for themselves what its like for their neighbours.
