I have to say that, your build, the finishes and your experience all hinges on your SS and the contracted framers, plasterers, brickers etc. We had our private inspector inspect 3 stages of our build and he said that it was one of the better houses. We have had a relatively smooth admin and build trip with Boutique. Now we are going to see what the next phase is like, list of defects and how they will fix this. As for site costs, we had I think 6k budgeted for site cost but did not encounter rocks, so this was credited back to us in the end. Again, I think customers satisfaction is going to vary quite a bit from own expectations to the people you are dealing with.
