So if they got 550k they would get 2% if they got 575k it would go to 3% or something like that. We just negiotiate the commission always. If we sold this house we are in now, I would not work off a percentage but a fixed price. Friend just sold their property and paid 30k in commissions for a property worth 1.2 mil. It took absolutely no more effort in selling this property than a property worth half the price so why do the agents get more commission? If there are any agents reading this I would be most interested Thats why I like fixed pricing.... better for some properties (hope this makes sense) Mrs B nothing in it for the agent weither they sell it for 900,000 or 1.2 if its fixed price, go sliding scale or incentive based, the more you get, the more they get!
