Hi there,
We are almost ready to finish our rent due to the new home being ready. Last inspection we
pointed out to the Property management ppl that there is a two cracked tiles either side of the ensuite
toilet. They have since sent a property maintenance person out who inspected the toilet then
went away saying that it needed the toilet removing and replacing the tiles.
The agents have now rung us and asked how did the cracks happen. Obviously to me its faulty tiling
or toilet installation or maybe even slab movement for it to occur directly either side of the toilet bowl.
I feel that now they will try and put blame onto us for this issue as its going to cost them money being out of new house warranty (the place we are renting is just over 12mths old).
Does anyone have any advice on this matter?
