we are considering purchasing a property off the plan, are there any recommended contract clauses we should have written in?

Do you mind me asking where (city) you are thinking of buying and why you are choosing Off the Plan? Buying off the plan is only beneficial in a rising market (and lots of them aren't at the moment). I've seen lots of people lose money on OTP so please do your homework. I'm not saying don't buy but do the numbers. Last month I could have bought a unit in Sydney for $255K. They sold for $365 new in 2005.
