Browse Forums Real Estate 1 Sep 15, 2012 5:29 pm Hi there, So straight to the point, I purchased a block of land at 3389sqm and signed the contract with 3389sqm and made sure with the Real Estate Agent before I signed it and he confirmed based on the papers he showed me and the SP numbers are the same on contract and plan. Now I went to meet the new neighbours today and they showed me their SP plan and infact shows my block is only 3145 sq so I'm losing 244 sqm. Working off the pricing of the property I bought at $220,000, I've lost in value roughly $15,000. I'm still in the cooling off period however want the property, but is this a breach of the contract with the real estate? Is there any means to be compensated for the lost land? Thank you Re: Land Size Wrong on Contract 3Sep 15, 2012 6:41 pm Have contacted them, however they were finished up for the day for Saturday.
