Having found a buyer for an IP in Adelaide, the Purchaser signed a contract with no conditions (ie finance or sale of another property), and the cooling off period expired but they didn't pay any deposit (although a deposit was set in the contract).
Since it had been a month since contract signing and still no deposit, a letter was sent to the Purchasers giving them 7 days to pay or contract would be cancelled.
Well the 7 days is up and still no deposit. Am i able to take this further? At the time of sale, the tenants had just moved out, and since the purchasers were going to live in the house we decided not to persue further tenants.
I am really cheesed off now, as the house has been taken off the market for 5 weeks, subject to contract.
