I was reading about decking and found that in the council website, it mentioned that council approval is required for decking on floor area over 10m2. However, is this "decking" meaning the one above the ground, attached to the house? Would I still need council approval if I want to add timber flooring outdoor decking (on the ground) in my backyard (and more than 10m2)?
