Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 03, 2020 6:11 pm Hi all, Coming to the end of a new build and thanks to the recent rain we’ve noticed the driveway doesnt drain properly (see first image). Spoke to builder and their ‘quick fix’ was to cut the concrete slab into four so that the water drains down the very thin cracks (it doesn’t, or if it does, it takes hours). After much back and forth the builders’ new solution is to pour concrete over the top (see second image). Fix-up is not complete but I’m assuming they’ll then buff/polish the fresh concrete and paint to match the driveway colour. We’re worried layering concrete will crack over time. Is this the case? I believe driveway has 7yrs warranty. Should we argue that we want the whole thing re-done?
