If there is a mark on the walls I use either a microfiber cloth or magic eraser to clean it off. I generally don't have any issues getting marks off the walls, however I find if I have to do anything beyond very light rubbing that when light is shining on the wall you can see where I have rubbed the mark off (i.e. burnishing as described hereby Dulux). Is there any way to avoid this? This certainly doesn't look good. I would be engaging with an independent inspector to have a look at this.
