You can check with salesman for dishwasher in store re: depth and heights or online with manuals for dishwashers if you want reassurance. Re: Dishwashing Provision 3Jun 26, 2020 9:39 am I actually hate the way most kitchen companies leave 610 gap for dishwashers. Everyone does it but you only need a 600 wide space. All dishwashers are designed to fit into a 600 wide opening (Industry standard) and this gap still allows the door to close. They are typically 596 wide Once you make the opening 610 you have a gap down the sides. If you opt for an integrated DW it actually won't work. I personally build my DW spaces at 600 but I'm very careful to make sure that the gap is parallel all the way through the opening so the DW doesn't bind up as it's inserted. Leaving 610 gives you a bit of wriggle room (which is why everyone does it) but doesn't give the neatest finish.
