We have never built before so hoping someone can shed some light...
We went to see our little patch of dirt that we settled on last year, and we discovered that our neighbour on the right who has commenced building and has their framework almost complete, has entered onto our block with a bobcat to make it easier to access their rear yard. As they have a retaining wall with a step down on their other side I can see why they entered our block.
The problem is that the bobcat has created a load of track marks and bog holes (thanks to the rain) across our entire block and at the rear where our block is upward sloping, has now created what my children describe as a big mud slide. What was our green grass is now a mud zone.
Wondering if this is something I must just accept because we are not building yet and the neighbours can use our block like a free access to all, or should I be trying to find out who the owner is (who is also owner/builder) and voicing my concerns?
