Hoot Homes

Hi all
Anyone currently building with Hoot Homes? I know they are part of the Wisdom group and there is a lot of bad reviews about Wisdom homes.

Hoot homes have a home that we fell in love with and the salesperson has been great (so far) but just wondering if anyone can share their experiences with Hoot homes with me, whether the issues identified on online reviews are continuing etc.

I am buidling with them.they are very slow.took around 7 months only for pre construction process.

Thanks for your reply. I am also curious to know if you have commenced construction with them

Also did you find that their tender was accurate? Or that you ended up paying further additional costs

We are considering Hoot Home to build our first home as well but a bit curious about the integrity of the company after reading the bad comments on Wisdom.

Our pre construction process also took a long time but the experience has been good so far except the CSR who was assigned to us. Our construction started in August this year and has been very smooth since then, the Site manager is amazing and he calls us every week to give updates on the build and so far i haven't seen any delays. Hoping this continues till completion.

My draft contract indicates 29 weeks.
What was the estimated time for your built?
Do you think it will be on time? or earlier?

Our build has been pretty quick. We started on 1st of August and they are doing wet area tiling now and the only items remaining after that would be:
- Paint
- Appliances
- Flooring

If it weren't for Christmas break, ours would have been complete by December.
