Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 04, 2022 8:36 am Hi all, Repainting the house and after watching a few YouTube vids I am strongly thinking about buying a airless sprayer to complete the job. Anyone else used a paint sprayer have any thoughts on if I should go this way? Not thinking of buying a expensive unit probably just the Ozito brand which is only $300 but another $70 for the better suited tip to spray wall paint. I like how quick they seem to put the paint down and also how you can also use it to spray enamel paint etc as well. Any pros and cons would be appreciated. Thanks Geoff Re: Paint sprayer or roller 2Mar 04, 2022 12:45 pm garfield28 Hi all, Repainting the house and after watching a few YouTube vids I am strongly thinking about buying a airless sprayer to complete the job. I cant imagine the ozito spray gun is going to be in that category. Dark matter scientist, can breathe underwater, mind reader andΒ can freeze matter just by willing it. Trust me, its in my sig. Re: Paint sprayer or roller 3Mar 07, 2022 11:05 pm I was in your exact shoes 12 months ago. I spent a little more and bought a Wagner 350M and love it. I sprayed the entire house in 2 days but it took me 3 days to prep. Everything and I mean everything needs to be covered. Then another day of packing up. Get yourself those roll out plastic sheets and brown paper with the dispenser. It's a decent investment at first but I've now sprayed a new outdoor room cladded with grooved cement sheeting. Inside an alfresco. Outdoor furniture. I wouldn't use it for a small room as it would take too long to prep. Can't beat it for ceilings, cornices, skirtings and architraves. waste of time for us having both, living only need one or the other. Bedroom only needs blockouts in our experience. Somfy RTS seems to be the way to go, speak to… 1 3603 Go to an actual paint store, not bunnings. Dulux even have trade centers. Don't have to be a trade to but their paint. 1 14037 |
