Bath room have one sliding door when i close the door it has big gap in hindges area. while we put aircon the aircon goes inside the hole . how to fix the hole. i have informed carpenter he advise he put extra timber to close of the hole in the door. but it looks very odd. As he placing the wood outside of the door. But what is the right way to close the hole in this sliding door.

Is this a new build ? This is basically poor workmanship, the door sits on tracks and need to be aligned properly. A good fix would be to inspect the tracks and realign the door. Push for your builder to fix it permanently.
