Recently purchased a 2-bedroom art-deco semi-detached home in the inner west of Sydney. It is in a cul-de-sac.
At the time, we did not consider aspect. The front of the semi is facing north, our exposed windows are west and the back courtyard is south. The bedrooms are located at the front of the house and the living areas, kitchen and laundry are at the back.
We want to do renovations on the property but not sure if it is worth it considering the aspect and how narrow it is. We would want to modernise the back and retain some of the Art Deco features at the front of the house.
Has anyone had a property like this or advice on whether a renovation is possible/worth it?
