Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 10, 2020 4:09 pm Wondering if anyone has used recycled/reclaimed timber flooring for a new build/reno? Were you happy that you did and any recommendations on where to source the timber from. We're kind of interested in that 'pre-damaged' look and also figure scratches, wear-and-tear etc will blend in more. Thanks. Re: Recycled timber flooring 2May 10, 2020 4:49 pm It will cost you double to complete. If you like that look there are some really good engineered boards that have a roughy looking texture to them. May need to do some research, best contact an installer and ask them direct. Registered Building - Always happy to help where I can and simply loves the game. DM me if you need help in VIC. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15922 Building Standards; Getting It Right!
