We then had minor requests for changes to our home such as having the front windows of our home right to the bottom. We had to go back and forth resigning plans and constantly chase them for some information. Connie made several mistakes on our plans that we picked up on. Not long after I spoke to the head office manager JO who was extremely rude talking over me and not understanding about the mistakes and misleading information Connie advised us of as we were told that they now can’t start building our home till JULY / AUGUST. She had advised me I don’t know the process and due to the window changes we made it has delayed the whole process. Tomorrow is our colour appointment and we just got advised we can’t have the windows the way we want them???? I would like to know what took them MONTHS to advise us we couldn’t do the windows as we want them to be done. Yet they advise you at 5pm on the dot a day before your appointment. Absolutely disgusting, I am applauded!!! We have had the worst experience ever with MIMOSA HOMES I wish we never went ahead with them. I really feel very bad for you guys, we had similar experience with PD and we have step back and loose $2000 k deposit. Its better to stop the journey with them rather then get disappoint later with the build. We have taken that step as I believe initially if there is some dispute with builder that means our whole project is at risk. We are building with Henley now and happy with the our build. It's just a business transaction rather than one of the biggest investments a family/person will make. That JO person sounds like a pain in that regard.
