G'day - Arrjo here. First time poster, and wannabe DIY'er here
I'm in the process of converting a 12m x 6m shed into a studio/workshop. I live in the Macedon Ranges, so insulation is a must.
The framework is now up courtesy of a local tradie (see pic), however there's a 210mm gap between the front of the internal stud and the metal shed wall. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅
Here's a close up of the gap.

When installing batts, is the friction from the fit sufficient to keep them in place over time, or should some additional support be installed? I've been reading about vapour barriers and wall-wraps, but I'm unsure how applicable these are.
Any/all suggestions appreciated.
Cheers,
RJ
