Relocating water meter

Hi, I am a first home buyer and there is so many instructions and terms that confuses me with this process.

I was asked to contact SA water to relocate water meter. I’ve done it and got an approval from them.

Now I am confused with this instruction

When do I contact a licensed plumber for permanent reconnection? Is it before the building commences or after? Do I really have to contact a plumber or the builder have their plumber who will do the permanent connection for me?

Hi socioangl, will appreciate your guidance our builder requested us to contact SA water. Our water meter is also placed in the middle of garden and are considering moving it a bit to the side. Any idea what SA water quoted you, and who hid the work?

Hi trushan sorry late reply. We just filled a form online requesting water SA to move our water meter. That includes paying right away depending on the distance or how complicated the relocation is. Just go to SA water website.
