Due to an insufficient erosion barrier and a charged pipe that was not correctly capped or directed effectively elsewhere, when we had the first bit of rain in a long time the mud and water from this property was excessive enough to to flow into our pool. Not once, but twice ( we chased this issue constantly). Once speaking to the firstyle site supervisor he fixed the erosion barrier and had a plumber fix the pipe. We had a big rain after this and did not experience the issue again. However we are out of pocket paying to get the mud and debris out of the pool on 2 seperate occasions. Not including the time off work or the water cost for draining a pool and refilling, or the electricity bill to continually run the pool filter, it cost us approx $700 For chemicals to get it back up to what it was. We emailed them. We called them. We sent them footage of the issue and pictures to no avail. 3 months chasing reimbursement has left us with a phone call from a rude area manager by the name of brad ( we are located south west of Sydney). Doing the right thing seems to escape this company. Caution advised! P.s. we have been very patient with this company. We would come home to find the security fence not only up against our newly built house, but also sitting on our newly built retaining wall. We also found trades would put bricks in our gutters to hold plastic in place to try avoid mortar/ cement from brickies on our house ( was not too effective). We dealt with those issues ourselves but on a whole I think displays the integrity of the builder! Hi Kaiser85, We are building with Firstyle Homes.
