It is a side entrance home, which might have been ideal if the entrance was on the north side of the house - for my case, the entrance is on the south side. I am thinking of upgrading the walls insulation to 2.5R batts Would I need to have double glazing on all of my windows to meet 6 star? I was wondering if the floor plan would not be ideal as the side windows wont be getting any light due to my block's orientation. Trouble is I really really want a side entrance in my home. If I keep the Orientation as is would it be a significant disadvantage based on your experience around getting natural light etc. i thought the flipped plan initially but bec i want narrow pathway from entry to dining (dont like bend), also cannot fit the… 7 17167 Hi, Seeking volume or semi-custom builder in victoria(east), which have existing double story wide floor plans.
