Re: Australia lockdown 2Mar 25, 2020 11:58 am As of now, no construction sites will be shut down, including residential sites. Head offices may be shut down but working from home will likely be inforced so that all admin can work through the process. Trades are still working on-site and have not been directed to stay at home. Until the Govrnment announces a full shut down the industry will keep going, apparently the MBA has announced that the constuction industry is an "essential service" so it may keep going but who knows. Re: Australia lockdown 7Mar 25, 2020 8:59 pm The problem is going to be supply of imported fittings. I ordered 20 special plumbing fittings early February normally available in a week, but told would be delivered by the end of the month. I spent a couple of hours buying what I could from around Melbourne for the time being. . . . so no more available locally. Fast approaching the end of March and no sign of the order.
