I want it in as I’ll be working in there a lot, he will now have to remove and roll out wire and insulation one sheet at a time he told me. If the structure is relying on the roof sheeting to stand up you have more problems than it not being insulated. To be clear the sheeting is not a structural component. I can't see why it should leak more. They will most likely reuse the existing holes in the sheeting to reattach the sheeting. If there is leaking they would have to fix it.
